Appointment Cancellation and No-Show Policy

To ensure the highest quality of service for all clients, we kindly ask that any appointment cancellations be made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. Cancellations made with less than 72 hours’ notice will incur a full charge for the scheduled service, which must be paid before booking a new appointment.

If a gift certificate is being used and the appointment is not cancelled with 72 hours' notice, the full value of the booked service will be deducted from the certificate. Exceptions to this policy will only be made in cases of contagious illness, accident, hospitalization, or a death in the family.

Late Arrivals: Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late will forfeit their appointment and be charged in full as a no-show. If you arrive within 15 minutes of your scheduled time, we will provide as much of the service as time allows, but you will be responsible for the full cost of the original service.

No-Show Policy: Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without notice will result in a full service charge. If the card on file is declined, the amount must be paid in full before rescheduling. For appointments booked with a gift certificate, the service value will be deducted from the certificate. This fee may only be waived in the case of an emergency, at the discretion of management.

To reschedule or cancel an appointment, please call us at 256.860.0485. If calling outside of business hours, you may leave a voicemail. A cancellation confirmation will be sent to you via email or text message—please retain this notification as proof in the event of a billing discrepancy.

Please note: All incoming and outgoing calls at Leaf & Stone Spa are recorded for quality assurance in accordance with Alabama State Law.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Group Booking & Cancellation Policy

To ensure a seamless and relaxing experience for all guests, we kindly request the following for group bookings:

  1. Groups of six (6) or more require a non-refundable 25% deposit at the time of booking to reserve your appointments.
  2. Cancellations for group bookings of six (6) or more guests must be made at least 72 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment time. Cancellations made with less than 72 hours’ notice will result in full charges for all scheduled services, which must be paid prior to booking any future appointments.
  3. Exceptions to this policy may be considered in the event of an emergency, at the discretion of management.
  4. A mandatory 18% gratuity will be added to all group bookings of six (6) or more guests to support our service providers.

Late Arrivals: If any member of your party arrives more than 15 minutes late, their appointment will be cancelled and considered a no-show. Guests arriving within 15 minutes of their appointment time will receive an abbreviated version of their service, time permitting, but will be responsible for the full cost of the originally scheduled service.

No-Shows: Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without notice will result in the full-service fee being charged to the card on file.

To reschedule or cancel your group appointment, please call 256-860-0485 and speak directly with a spa attendant. If calling after hours, you may leave a detailed voicemail.

Thank you for choosing Leaf & Stone Spa. We look forward to providing your group with an exceptional and restorative experience.

Client Draping Policy

At Leaf & Stone Spa, your comfort, safety, and privacy are our top priorities. In accordance with the Alabama Board of Massage Therapy's Code of Ethics (Rule 532-X-3-.11), all clients will be appropriately draped at all timesthroughout their massage session.

You will be covered with a clean sheet, towel, or blanket, ensuring that the breasts, intergluteal cleft, and genitals remain fully covered. Our licensed massage therapists are trained to use draping techniques that maintain both physical and emotional privacy.

Clients are welcome to undress to their own comfort level; however, draping is mandatory and will never be removed during the session. Your therapist will explain the draping process prior to the start of your service and will ensure that you feel comfortable and respected throughout your experience.

Please note:

  1. Massage therapists are strictly prohibited from intentionally exposing or inappropriately touching any private areas, including the intergluteal cleft, breasts (for female clients), or genitals.

  1. Any violation of this policy is taken very seriously and is grounds for immediate action in line with state regulations and our spa’s standards of professionalism.

We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and healing environment for all.

Client Conduct and Fragrance Policy

To maintain a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for everyone, we kindly ask all clients to review and adhere to the following policies:

1. Professional Conduct

Our team is dedicated to upholding a professional and respectful atmosphere. In return, we expect the same courtesy from our clients.

Any behavior—verbal or physical—that is considered inappropriate or disrespectful will result in the immediate termination of services. In such cases, clients will be required to pay for the scheduled service in full and leave the premises promptly.

Please do not request any services that fall outside the legal scope of our staff’s licensure.

At any time, our management or service provider have the right to refuse or terminate service. At the same time, the customer has the right to stop services and withdraw consent.

2. Fragrance-Free Environment

To protect clients and staff who may have allergies or sensitivities, we respectfully ask that you refrain from wearing perfume, scented body lotions, or sprays during your visit.

This policy ensures a safe and comfortable experience for all individuals in our facility.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us create a positive and professional environment for everyone.
